Roof end of first day tiling

The panorama stiching has slightly distorted the lines of the photo.

Started laying today

It's a bit of a slow process as the Redland tech info requires every tile to be nailed and clipped.

Roof felt and battening

Started to felt and batten the roof this week, started off slowly never having done this before. It took about 2 days to do the first side as I had to call on some friends to get some help, as I soon found that it is near impossible to do this alone! Also worth noting that if you think you are saving time and money by using 1.5m rolls of underlay, you are not! They are unbelievably awkward to unroll with your arms stretched out in front of you, while trying to balance walking backwards and not fall to your death. However last night a roofer friend of mine came to help me for a couple of hours (Thanks Gary) and I received an education in how to felt and batten a roof in a more urgent fashion!( In the rain)
